Pictorial and material works for villas, hotels, boutiques, restaurants and yachts: I give soul to places and heighten their identity.

Giving soul to a place, heightening its identity and making it impossible to forget.

03 It is there that I recognise my language, my feeling, the truest part of me.

My collection is born of nature, because nature is where truth lives: an authentic, vital force without artifice.

From concept to placing

Every project follows the same breath: decide where the light will fall, set the line, paint, build the matter, place it in the space.

Hands in the Sea
My painting techniques are in constant change: they are not born of habit, but of the need to make reality truer and emotion more powerful.
  1. 01

    Concept

A few pencil lines decide the coastline and where the sun will settle. Before colour, the place.

  2. 02

    Sketch

Watercolours, pastels and a plate of matter share the table. The gesture returns to the same wave until the mark holds.

  3. 03

    Work

The original on paper: the sea is already there, the surface still soft. From here the work can move onto ceramic.

  4. 04

    Matter

Paste is spread by hand and becomes foam, sand, wall. The picture starts to rise off the sheet.

  5. 05

    Placing

The panel finds its wall. The room, the niche or the terrace become part of the work, and the work part of the space.

Four materials, one dialogue with space

Ceramic, canvas, Chromaluxe and wood: four supports in dialogue with architecture. Each work chooses the matter it wants to live in.

01

Ceramic

Panels and tiles that hold the light, even outdoors. The glossy surface returns the water as if it were still wet.

02

Canvas

The classic support, when a work asks for softness and depth. Meant for interiors and for formats that need to breathe.

03

Chromaluxe

Print on aluminium: sharpness, durability and a slim body, suited to onboard spaces, corridors and walls that cannot take weight.

04

Wood

Warmth and visible grain. A support that speaks to beams, pergolas and Mediterranean interiors without needing a frame.

Who it is for

The works speak with the spaces that receive them. Some images show real installations; others are spatial visions, to imagine how a work might live in a villa, a hotel, a yacht.

Monica Beside Her Sea

Hi, I’m Monica

Painting is my greatest passion. After an academic education in Interior & Exterior Design, my artistic path led me to create highly personalised mural works.

In every work, art merges with the colours of the reality that surrounds us, to give soul to a place and heighten its identity.
