One process. Many languages.
The Iconist Method From place
to icon.
My painterly research meets the identity of your place.
A method connecting artistic sensitivity and spatial identity, from the first conversation to the presence of the artwork. The Iconist Method / 01
Place .
Listen before imagining.
Every project begins with the identity of the location: its history, the people who inhabit it, its landscape and the experience it wishes to offer. Before choosing a form, we need to understand where it belongs.
The Iconist Method / 02
Research .
Gather what matters.
I observe colours, architecture, symbols, light and atmospheres. Drawing and photography help bring references into focus: the character of a place can be hidden in a detail.
The Iconist Method / 03
Intuition .
Find the signature of identity.
A visual direction emerges from the references. An image, a rhythm or a relationship between elements can become the heart of the project: what makes the place recognisable and distinctive.
The Iconist Method / 04
Material .
Give the idea a physical form.
The language begins with textured painting: mixtures, layers and relief create depth and three-dimensional effects. I then choose the support — ceramic, ChromaLuxe, wood, canvas or aluminium — in relation to the artwork and the place.
The Iconist Method / 05
Icon .
Let the artwork live in the space.
The artwork meets the location: its scale, wall, light and the viewpoints of those who enter or pause. The aim is a signature that belongs to the place and that guests take with them, as a memory or a photograph.
Inside my work
Textured painting & depth Painting
takes shape.
In my work, colour meets textured mixtures, layers and relief. Distinctive painting techniques create depth and three-dimensional effects: light meets the material and reveals its details.
For every artwork, its support.
Ceramic
The artwork becomes a surface, in dialogue with walls, entrances and architecture.
ChromaLuxe
A support that brings the painted image into a space, giving colour a distinct presence.
Wood
A surface with a natural character, chosen in relation to the artwork and its setting.
Canvas
Painting enters a space as an independent artwork, with its own presence and rhythm.
Aluminium
A contemporary support for translating an artwork into an element that engages with the space.
